tldr: Things that live in your 3rd House: your sibling, your Uber driver, your missing package, your Jupiter-square-everything chaos.

Somebody on Reddit posted a really compelling question: Why do all their packages go missing, or get broken, or show up two years late? Taking a look at their chart, you can pinpoint it to two main things: their Mercury (in fall in Pisces in the 6th house) and their 3rd/6th house ruler (Jupiter, square a bunch of stuff -- including the nodes -- even though it's in domicile.) Here's their original comment, their chart, and my response (formatted a little bit for Tumblr).

Title: Why do I always face issues with packages/delivery?

I always, ALWAYS have issues with online shopping. Whenever I order something,the package never shows up, gets damaged, or arrives 2 years after if I do get it (not exaggerating, I ordered something in 2021 to get it in 2023 from USPS granted I live halfway across the world).

Anything from Amazon to USPS to local post offices, EVERYTHING FAILS like straight up doesn't work. Any reason why??

Mercury in Pisces and the Nodes

Like everybody else is saying, I think Mercury is a big culprit here but there’s also a couple more pieces. Mercury is in fall in Pisces — its worst possible position, it’s running around here devoid of its normal tools. It’s also in the 6th house of everyday things and routines (packages, etc). So that’s a planet that’s prone to crossed wires and misdirection in a key house of mundane normal stuff.

Then it’s conjunct both Uranus (glitchy tech, service disruption) — and it’s conjunct the North Node. So there’s a karmic life task for you of holding your own patterns through chaos. Then opposite your Moon in Virgo/south node means there’s an emotional component. Probably old wounds around being too messy (both literal and metaphorical ) and never “doing it right.”

Jupiter -- Ruler of the 3rd and 6th, and Square *Everything*

You’ve also got Mercury square Jupiter which is a whole other thing— Jupiter is in the 3rd house in Sagittarius. Jupiter in the 3rd (short term travel, mail, communication) would normally be great…but it’s the ruler of that house too and it’s square everything — moon, Mercury, Uranus and stuck in the middle/square both of the Nodes. (Aka in the bends). It’s also the ruler of that 6th house that is giving you so much trouble.

This feels like constant crossed signals, drop offs being missed, “delivery notice “ when you were already home…and it’s a lifelong thing due to being in the bends of the lunar nodes. Do you feel like your regular communication tends to get snarled and tangled up or misdirected/misunderstood? Possibly problems with siblings (if you have any) or sibling-like relatives? Those are ruled by the 3rd house too.

Scorpio 2nd house and your material possessions

Then your material possessions house (2nd) is in Scorpio, ruled by Pluto, which is with Jupiter in your Sagittarius 3rd house. So your material possessions and relationship to them tends to be intense, guarded and prone to control issues or anxiety over loss. Maybe a little paranoia over “where’s my stuff”?

Chiron and wounds around the home

As a last piece you also have Chiron in the 4th house, so there are wounds around safety and security (generally at home, sometimes material, sometimes emotional) and problems/concerns with things arriving to your home intact.

Wrap-up and encouragement

Essentially, you’re not cursed or doing anything wrong, but logistics and receiving stuff are part of a bigger emotional and life pattern for you. Give yourself a little grace when it happens, don’t assume you’ve necessarily screwed anything up, and keep on showing yourself compassion and holding your own personal patterns and routines steady. It’ll feel a lot less like a life disruption and more like a tenacious but understandable pattern. And if you’ve got a good friend, maybe have them keep doing the ordering for you 😅.

so the circled ones are the ones the same height as randal (5'4) which i found here it says he's 5'4 so yeah the circled ones include satoru, randal, all the ratmen, scarecrow kid, spider girl, and yamada

then i worked with those a little taller or shorter than that which are kitty carpet and flowerman who're a little taller so i made them 5'5 and dream luther who's a little shorter so i made him 5'3 then i worked with dream luther to get avalona's height as 5'2 since shes only a tiny bit shorter than him

then i went to sebastian who's a bit taller than kitty and made him about 5'7 since he was slightly taller than her than she was the 5'4s ykwim and then i noted the daisies and hitchhiker b to be the same height as him and went off of that to say that hitchhiker a is 5'8

then i measured off hitchhiker a to say nyon and nyen are the same height as him (i dont count nyen's hat as part of his height since i've seen art where it comes off unlike nyon's ears) and then went off of that where luther's 2 inches taller than them so he's 5'10

then i measured that axe luther and nana (when she's standing like that in the chart) are the same height and that ethereal q was about 4 inches shorter than them so in order to get his height i had to get theirs first so i went off luther for that and determined it was about a 7 inch difference and 5'10 plus 7" is 6'5 for them and 6'5 minus 4" is 6'1

then i wanted to measure nana's full body length so i took about her body length and compared it to the rest on the ground and there was about 4 inches that it didn't cover so i counted it as 6'9 on the ground and 6'5 + 6'9 is 13'1 so that's her full body length

the n/a ones (house elf, cone, ego) are ones too small to properly measure even with the others as a reference so i didn't fill those out, i'll just estimate like a few inches tall for house elf and ego and about a foot for cone

6th house rules the health and daily routines, and it should somehow rule the health of our digestive health no????

Such a conclusion could explain why my Jupiter in 6h makes me have huge eating habits. While Saturn in 6h are more likely to have restrictive eating habits? Or maybe I'm acting dumb again??

Ranting under more per usual

Drew Silent Salt expressions since I want them to be expressive because they don't really talk in Rising Charcoal. They CAN talk- since their new body didn't carry over whatever originally took that ability away (I'll decide one if canon doesn't do it)- but they have grown to prefer using their telepathy. A lot more secretive, and a lot more fun. Thats also how Silent Salt "heard Elder Faerie's thoughts somewhere in Beast-Yeast", since they can also read minds to some degree, functioning as telepathy from another person to them (working on the balance with that). Don't blame anyone who doesn't remember that detail, I posted the first Silent Salt art...

Anyway-

There is one person they'll talk to out loud.

Elder Faerie.

Man I wish I could tell you why they're friends at all, just know it started with an insane amount of pity from Silent Salt because of the spoiler stuff that happened to Elder Faerie. He has had a bad 17 years, and thats a big reason a lot of art depicts him as far less calm and collected than usual. Even without factoring in the details of the 17 years, his patience has run low so he's FAR more aloof than before.

Again, he's paid to be sad by the hour.

Unless it's Silent Salt because duo of all time real (also Silent Salt might have saved his life, got him back on his feet, and stopped the Ultimate Cookie Project, so he trusts them a surprising bit)

Also PMD server I'm in made me think of making a PMD AU for Rising Charcoal. Sylveon Elder Faerie isn't permanent, its just the best other choices are huge hints towards backstory or way too hard to draw without reference. I'll come up with a better fairy type for him if I draw more Rising Charcoal Pokémon edition
